Mark D. Roberts and I Will Be On Hugh Hewitt Today

First, Mark D. Roberts posted his notes from yesterday’s session on his site. The GodblogCon folks put Mark’s audio online as well. Here’s a full list of all audio files from GodblogCon, made available on the Scriptorium.)

Second, Hugh Hewitt invited us to be on his radio show this afternoon. (Mark has been on Hugh’s show several times, like yesterday, but this is a first for me!) We’re taping it at 1:30 PST, and it will go on the show later today. I think you’ll be able to stream it from his site this evening as well.

So how did it go? (The radio interview, I mean.)

Hey, glad I found your blog again! Sorry I missed you on Hugh. Hope you tell us how it went!

Oh, and thanks for listing me in your sidebar. You can move me from the “editor” category to the “agent” category. Check out my new blog!

P.S Do you want to be listed on my blog as a freelance editor?

L.L., it went as well as you might expect an editor who has an hour to prepare for a new medium. Mark said I did fine.

Rachelle, welcome back! I’ll definitely move you from editor to agent (if I don’t forget!) No need to list me as a freelance editor, but I appreciate the offer. I’m trying to simplify my life.

Now if only I could simplify my bills…

General Disclaimer: I feel this needs to be said. I don’t get political around here. My friends call me a raving moderate. I’m solidly independent.

That said, I don’t want people to read my appearance on Hugh’s show as some kind of coming out of the closet thing. Hugh is a nice guy in person, but I’d hate for people to think his politics are my politics.

Mainly, I just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to talk about The High Calling on a large syndicated radio show.

Hi Marcus and thanks for dropping by my new blog yesterday. It was listening to Hugh’s show from the Godblog conference and hearing Mark D Roberts talking about TheHighCalling website that got me over to check this all out and got me started on HighCallingsBlog. I suppose I heard you too on that program, but then Mark was the one I knew as Hugh talks to him regularly.

I used to keep my politics separate from my faith-based writings, but I decided I want to cover all the spheres of life that I care about. I’m using the “categories” feature to identify my postings and I’ll see how that works.

Even still, I’ll be trying to keep my politics to areas that a wider audience could appreciate — whether they agree or disagree.

God bless!
