I’m just tickled pink. They have a good headline, too: Micheal Flaherty Talks Narnia, Dawn Treader. You can read the whole interview at our site.
Don’t forget to check back in two weeks for Part 2 of the interview! I like the second part even better personally. That’s where he really gets into the nitty gritty of faith and fantasy, stories and adaptations, art and commerce.

I’ll be waiting!
How cool is that!
It is cool, you know! And Robert, rumor has it, there’s a sneaky link to part two of the interview already live at http://specfaith.ritersbloc.com/
Terrific.
And your comment about art and commerce reminded me of something from McKee’s Story, about how in an ideal world the two (and politics as well) would have nothing to do with one another.
That struck a key. But, you know, I wonder if commerce was totally out of it… if that wouldn’t bring its own drawbacks…
Congrats!
L.L., I think commerce is just one way of being accountable to readers.
RLP, thanks!
Great interview. Almost intuitively I know that the stories that my family watches together create a bond, but it was news to me just how important that story/bonding process is. Thanks for the sneak peek.
Thanks for the sneak peak to part two!
