If you’re like me, you’re tired of being told to grow kids God’s way and dare to discipline. I mentioned Mary DeMuth’s book Authentic Parenting earlier this week in an review. And the ideas in her book have really stuck with me. You know how some books do that, right? I know not every reader here is a parent, but if you are, definitely consider purchasing that book. It’s got some great stuff in it. And it’s only $13.00. That’s a good deal for a new book.

The best parenting book I know is “Shepherding Your Child’s Heart” by Ted Tripp. It addresses the heart rather than external behaviors - if you’re looking for parenting books, don’t leave this one out.

Shepherding is a pretty good book, although I enjoyed Ginger Plowman’s book called Don’t Make Me Count to Three more because it’s a little more practical. I reviewed both books on my blog (links above).
Shepherding a Child’s heart is my #1 favorite.
About your hard sell, I woldn’t click unless I know why you liked it (a sentence or two).
If this is as good as “Shepherding”, I’m sure I will enjoy it and give away many copies.
