After spending nearly four hours with my kids on the floor this weekend building lego pirate ships, islands, and various other bizarre things, I feel completely in touch with my inner child.
But not as in touch as these guys on DVICE who assembledBattlestar Galactica in LEGO: world’s largest gathering of Viper models, ever.
So cool. Now if only I could watch Battlestar Galactica on my TV instead of streaming it every Monday from the internet.

Pretty cool. I think I was of the pre-Lego generation. Though I guess I am experienced in it. Looks like a nice toy down the road for our granddaughter.
I wish Legos were more girl friendly. My daughter still gets into them when we build castles and things. I guess that feels more gender neutral. Most of my son’s legos are pirates (megablocks, really), star wars, and bizarre underwater space ships. We have maybe twenty little lego men, and one lego girl.
She loves to build though. We play with this stuff for hours. Literally. It’s way cooler than TV.
frakkin' awesome
