Wow. Haven’t digested them all, but cherished a few. Will mull over. You have a gift, Marcus. It’s true.

Yay. I love a free gift! I can’t wait to hear it.

Blessings on this Father’s Day. Here’s a little factoid. Over here, Father’s Day is on August 8th. You say 8 by saying “ba”. August is the 8th month…so the 8th month and the 8th day is pronounced “ba (yue) ba (hao)” and the word for dad is “ba-ba.” So “ba-ba’s” day is on ba-ba. I always thought that was neat. :)

OK…off to read my ebook.

Thank you. You move me, you know?

(Yup, I sat here and could not stop the forward motion… read every last one in a single sitting, even though I should be working on an article for a Foundation guy.)

Thank you Mark

I got all chocked up over the puppy and I liked the spider one-I saw a huge pocketed spider trap a dragon fly today :)

That would be choked. *grin*

Thanks so much for this gift – and a precious gift it is.

You all are very sweet!

Mary, what an honor that my work inspired you to write a poem.

Stacy, that is a great tidbit about Father’s day… in China? I’m not sure where you are specifically. Silly me. I always assume everyone is in the continental US.

Eve, I wrote the spider poem on an anniversary trip to Camano Island in Washington State. Beautiful beautiful place. I’m glad you liked the poem. I almost didn’t include it.

Susan and Spaghetti, you are both welcome. Enjoy!

Taiwan, but it’s the same on the mainland, too. Saying I’m in “China” gets way too political. ha! I lived on the mainland for awhile, too. But, the hill country is home and where I grew up. We’ll be living in Burleson in a year.

Wonderful work, by the way. You have a real talent.

Wow, Marcus! I’m impressed. You’re very talented. You really should try submitting your book to a publisher. Three Rivers Press, Graywolf Press, and Farrar, Straus and Giroux would be great for starters.

Also, POETRY Magazine is accepting submissions from new writers from June-August. You can submit up to four poems at one time. More info is available on my website at http://www.marriageleap.com.

Thank you for sharing your poems. I hope this info is helpful to you. Blessings!

Marla, thanks for the encouragement–especially since you are a fellow poet. I’ll definitely take a look at POETRY. I’ve read that journal from time to time…

Found your site- and yes, Marla’s advice has come to my use as well.

Liked your poems- A Boy becomes god…
