List 11 isn’t really a list. It’s a podcast interview with Jeanne Murray Walker, which is way cooler in my opinion! After reading a recent poem of hers in Christian Century, I couldn’t resist calling her to talk about how cool it was. (She’s also a gracious writer for TheHighCalling.org.)
I can”t republish the poem, and Christian Century hasn’t published it online. But you can hear Ms. Walker read it here. As a bonus, she offers some incredibly practical tips about poetry, form, and meter.
If you fancy yourself a poet, this is a must listen.
